My husband and I are from the Ripley area and have enjoyed living here for many years. Our daughter is grown and married and has a really cute little boy. They live near St. Louis. I work at the local college and my husband farms, raising cattle and hay. He is also an auctioneer. This stone house has been in my mother's family for over 200 years. She recently moved to assisted living and my brother, who lives with his family in Washington DC, and I decided to keep the family home and open it up to others through Airbnb. We look forward to meeting many new friends and helping our guests enjoy this historic home and their stay with us.
