Indawo
Large, bright open plan loft space totalling around 65sqm (700sq foot) located on the 3rd floor (4th to those of you from North America!) of a building dating from 1897. The space has been entirely modernised, whilst keep period features such as exposed brick walls and iron radiators. The remains of the pulley system used to haul goods up to the upper floors of the building remains, extending from the living room through what is now the juliet balcony doors. The surrounding area was filled with cabinet and furniture manufacturers from the 1800s up until WWII, which we believe this building was used for.

Greater London, England, United Kingdom

Vibrant Hoxton is home to indie art galleries and cool bars, with trendy global eateries surrounding the green space of Hoxton Square. High end restaurants accompany the Vietnamese restaurant area along busy Kingsland Road.
Members clubs such as Shoreditch House (Soho House) and The Curtain, hotels such as Nobu and The Ace sit on the same streets as backpacker hostels.
The Regent’s Canal has a popular towpath walk to escape to, and down-to-earth Hoxton Street Market sells food, clothes, and housewares. The Geffrye Museum has rooms with period furnishings in an 18th-century almshouse.
Columbia Road flower market is minutes away, and Broadway Market and London Fields an easy walk.

Hoxton Square itself dates from 1683 with the garden itself laid out in 1709. There are many historical references calling it a green oasis in a densely developed neighbourhood, and this remains the case today. Located a few streets away from the Northern boundary of "The City" - London's original financial district - with its skyscrapers, and in the heart of London's nightlife and cultural area, it's tall trees and green grass is a perfect place to take a break. And many people do just that. Sunny days will see the square filled with crowds eating lunch or meeting friends for picnics.

The square was a key location for the "young British artists" of the 1990s. Alexander McQueen lived on the square. Tracy Emin and Damien Hirst held an art event - Hirst sold pieces for £1 each (probably worth a little more today..), and for 50p you could look at his, eh, penis that he had painted colourfully for the occasion... It became a byword for trendy - both positive and negative - a thing as well as an address. It even spawned its own haircut - the Hoxton Fin. Most of the artists have moved on - victim to the areas popularity and the inevitable gentrification that comes with. The haircut is missed less.

The area has redefined itself throughout the years whilst maintaining that special something that makes it different to other areas in London.

You will have the entire space to yourself during your stay. I live permanently in London, but might be away when I have guests. However my friends and neighbours in the building are always at hand in case there is any issue, as I am for them . And of course I am easily contactable at all times. The building has a dedicated maintenance team for more specific problems.
