The home is located on the northeast side of Faribault on quiet street with golf course to the rear of the townhouse and nature reserve acreage across the street. The neighborhood consists of single family homes and townhouses and quiet and pleasant residential streets. The neighborhood is next to the Shattuck-St. Mary's campus and the Legacy Golf Course. It is a 10 minute walk to Shattuck-St. Mary's campus, a 15 minute walk to the Minnesota Academies for the Deaf and the Blind and a 20+ minute walk to downtown Faribault restaurants, and the River Bend Nature Center. There is a paved walking trail within a 5-10 minute walk to the south of the home that runs along the Straight River.
