Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A self contained cottage with access to beer garden and BBQ area. Entry can be arranged by appointment with the host to the adjacent English themed pub, where a selection of home brewed ales on tap may be sampled. A small donation towards the upkeep of the pub premises is appreciated. The outside area fire pit is available for use and a complimentary supply of firewood sufficient for one night is supplied. Additional wood $10/night.

A quiet rural location with views onto open countryside. Situated only 5Km from Stanthorpe town centre which offers shops, restaurants and bars. The accommodation is situated right in the heart of the Granite Belt with easy access to numerous wineyards.

I'm semi retired having moved from the Gold Coast to Applethorpe on the Granite Belt in 2016. My wife Sarah took employment as Assistant Principal at St Joseph's school in Stanthorpe. Being of English decent it was somewhat ironic to find myself living in an area that had true four seasons of the year including cold frosty winters and hot summers. It truely feels like England but with all the benefits of living in Australia.
