Located on the banks of the Renous River, this cozy 2 bedroom log cabin is a stone's throw from the world famous South-West Miramichi River and its Salmon, Stripped Bass, and Trout fishing, as well as snow mobile and ATV trails. At the end of your day relax next to the wood-stove, fire up the charcoal BBQ, or soak in the wood-fired cedar hot tub.

Please note: the hot tub is wood fired, and the cabin is heated by a wood stove. Please do not reserve if you are not confident in fire building.

Cottage is a cozy 550sq foot cedar log cabin with hardwood floors and pine ceilings. There are two bedrooms, one with two single beds, and a master with one queen sized Endy bed. There is one bathroom and a main room that serves as a living room and kitchen, with an electric stove, fridge, microwave, and a brand new wood cook stove. Cabin is hooked up to the grid, heated, and has wi-fi.

Renous is a small rural community not far from Miramichi. The cottage is located on a paved secondary road and there are a few neighbours. The property sits on 2 acres and is very quiet, but not totally secluded. Be aware there are off-leash dogs in the area.

There is a NBLC and corner store very close by.

I am a Canadian Army Officer and my wife is a Physiotherapist. We have two young boys and a Labrador. I am an outdoorsman at heart and owning a cabin on the Miramichi for fishing was always a goal of mine. We live almost two hours away, so we are not usually physically available for minor issues, but we are always available remotely and have local contacts for plowing, emergency repairs etc. Check in is via remote coded entry. The cottage is set up so that things that are more difficult to purchase (such as firewood) are already in location.
