Caban Carregwen sits in our large garden with its own private deck, bbq, firepit & seating areas.

You’ll immediately feel calm when you close the door to this place. It’s fully insulated, double glazed structure makes you feel like you’ve stepped in to your own private cocoon. ‘It’s a feeling’.

My hope, as your host, is for you to feel rested and content when you stay with us. I have lovingly tried to provide all of the extra little things that could enhance your experience here.

We consider our cabin as a detached room of our home with en-suite. It also benefits from a fully equipped separate food prep area.
There you will find a kettle, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, worktop oven with 2 hobs and a full size fridge.

There’s enough ground coffee, tea, milk and sugar ready for your arrival.
Also included is a small hamper of carefully selected Welsh delights.

In the shower room you’ll find a beautiful smelling 'Penlanlas' ‘local’ soap for your use and some ‘Sukin’ natural shower wash is provided; along with shampoo/conditioner.

We are situated on working farmland 4 miles from Aberystwyth.
There will obviously be sounds associated with a working farm, such as Sheep, cows and farm machinery.
At night the area around the cabin is very dark.

You'll see us out and around the back sometimes, pottering, but only if you look for us.
We are quiet and respectful of your need for privacy but if you'd like a chat, don't hesitate to get our attention. We'd be more than happy to share our knowledge of places to visit or restaurants to eat at.
We have a wealth of info on quiet, out of the way spots for you to explore by bike or foot.
Either way, you won't be disturbed by us and we are available for you throughout your stay, should you need anything at all. Our home is your home while you are with us.
