The space features a beautifully fluid open floor plan with the living room, dining room and kitchen all connected. The bedroom transition is cozy and intimate with peaked ceiling and private access to the bathroom. We also provide a small office, laundry and pantry space.

The Cottage is hugged by woodlands at the back and bucolic green hills dotted with orchards and small farms out the front. Yet within 15 minutes you will have arrived in quaint, well appointed downtown Chambersburg-- a small town bursting with good art and good food! We are also conveniently located 10 minutes from I-81, a major North/South interstate and 10 minutes from Rt 30 which takes you into the historic Gettysburg National Park. White Tail Ski Resort is 40 minutes South and Ski Liberty is 40 minutes East.

This is the second home that my wife, Kaite, and I have the privilege of sharing. The older reviews are from a 115 year old family home that we started out with and we are thrilled to now offer the Eco Cottage at Monstide Orchard!

Our Eco Cottage features an Organic Mattress, Eco-friendly fragrance free cleaning products and an old school "analog" experience. **Wood Fired Sauna Experience coming May 2022**

You can expect a daily show of wildlife as you come and go as herds of white tail deer, wild turkeys and hundreds of wild birds make Montside Orchard their home! Bring your binoculars--its a wooded wonderland!

The town of Chambersburg is nestled in the historic Cumberland Valley with many unique offerings close by. We are happy to recommend outdoor, antique and culinary adventures. We love it when friends pass through and are excited to meet new friends along the way.
