Settle in at this cozy, peaceful, and centrally-located West Virgina 2-bedroom mountain tiny home. Nestled between sister towns Davis and Thomas, enjoy local eateries, brew pubs, cafes, and artisan shops.

Tiny Pines Cabin is centrally located in Tucker County, West Virginia's center of year round outdoor recreation.

Hike, bike, kayak, fish, ski, paddle, chase waterfalls and soak up the Appalachian sunsets. The cure for cabin fever!

Tiny Pines Cabin is my "escape to nature" home.

The exterior is reminiscent of a European ski chalet with the charm and cozy vibes of a country cottage. Originally designed as a tiny home, it has since been modified with bonus room (converted to a second bedroom). The unique dormer window, skylight, and vaulted ceiling make this tiny home bright, airy, and spacious.

The upstairs bedroom lights up with the sunrise, so be sure to bring an eye-mask if you prefer to sleep through the sunrise. If you prefer a dark room that is completely blacked out, make your way to the first floor bedroom - perfect for hibernating.

**Guests should be aware that the stairs may not be suitable for some guests. The only room located upstairs is the bedroom with a dedicated workspace (pictured with the skylight and blue print quilt). This home may not suitable for some guests who require the use of assistive devices.

Tiny Pines Cabin is located in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains in Tucker County, just steps away from the quaint and bustling town of Davis.

At an elevation of 3,520 feet, Davis has the highest elevation of any West Virginia town. It is the gateway to four-seasons world class outdoor activities and sports in West Virginia.

Davis is home to a full grocery store, several convenience stores, ale houses and pubs with live music, locally owned eateries, sports rentals, a thriving art scene, and a lovely river front park. Also, don't miss the locally made ice cream!

Just a over mile away is Thomas, home to another bustling arts scene, live music at the Purple Fiddle, weekend art walks, and several restaurants and cafes.

Blackwater Falls State Park is only a few minutes up the road. You can access hiking and biking trails right from Tiny Pines. Be sure to visit the 57 foot cascading waterfall, scenic Lindy Point for sunrise or sunset, Elakala Falls, and Pendleton Point Overlook. Visitors can enjoy scenic areas year-round by using the stairs and viewing platforms in the park. Other activities include swimming, boating, fishing, geocaching, hiking, biking, snow sports, and other outdoor adventures. The Smokehouse Restaurant, located inside the park, is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Timberline Mountain ski area is only 12 miles away. Timberline's new owners just completed a $10M renovation including new high speed lifts and a beautiful lodge remodel. Enjoy snow tubing, terrain parks, skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Also enjoy summer activities like hiking and birding. Discounted 2022/2023 season passes are available now.

Canaan Valley State Park, 10 miles from Tiny Pines, is one of West Virginia's largest state parks. It is also a four-season destination on the high plateau in the Allegheny Mountains. Enjoy all of your favorite outdoor activities including golf, tennis, guided horseback rides, sleigh rides in the winter and more.

Tiny Pines is available for remote workers too. The cabin has high speed wi-fi modem. Also, there are a dozen places to work from around town. Please message me to inquire about remote worker stays.

I recently (and unexpectedly) bought a tiny home in Davis, West Virginia while on a hiking trip. I fell in love with the area and knew this needed to become a place I'd visit often. I'm confident that you'll be enamored with Tucker County and Canaan Valley too.
