Our place is situated in one of the most unique parts of New Zealand. With such close access to the lakes and the mighty Waitaki River. Fishing is very popular. We have the Alps to Ocean bike track in Kurow and it leads to the winery. It is very doable journey in around an hour. With spectacular views of the river and mountains. There are local hikes by the mighty river and up Kurow hill.
Natural wonders of the world can be seen close by. Mt Cook, Duntroons Vanished world, Elephant Rocks, Earthquake Rock as well as Maori Rock Art and cave drawings.
Guests enjoy a trip to Mt Cook or the clay cliffs from here.

We are loving living in the beautiful Waitaki Valley. The mountains, Lakes, Might braided River and great geology!
We have 11 acres of beautiful land on Kurow Hill. Off the beaten track so to speak. Quiet and tranquil with amazing star gazing. Our property has a beautiful forest with tracks, lush grass, wild flowers and medicinal plants. We have a large organic garden and have started to plant New Zealand native plants and fruit trees. We have three small dogs, 2 pet horses and Kune Kune pigs as well as chickens.
We offer a unique stay within a beautiful environment
with amazing meals.
