There are a few walks around that area. When you are almost there, on your right, there is a parking area. That gentle and short walk brings you near A glacier.

Close from Anchorage (so it can be a day trip), you can get in a glaciers and whale watching boat, a fishing tour boat, rent kayaks, etc. This is the entrance to Prince William Sound closest to Anchorage so it is well worth the visit. You have to pay to get into the tunnel (I believe a car is 15 dollars o so)

Quaint, typical Alaskan sea town with nice restaurant and gift shops, and an Aquatic Center where you can see the marine life. The drive to Seward (or even better, the train ride) is phenomenal. A little bit before Seward, if you take a right, you can also go to see Harding ice field. If you walk a little bit you can see the glacier very close, and if you are fit and wants to walk for 4-6 hours (return) you can see the actual ice field.
