Food scene

Established in 1970, Platt’s seafood is North Myrtle Beach’s largest and oldest fresh seafood market. Platt's receives daily deliveries of the freshest South Carolina seafood from local boats. Oysters, clams, and crabs are available by the bucket (subject to availability) . They also carry live blue crabs and lobsters (subject to availability). Blue crabs are available live or steamed (for an additional charge). Platt's also has a fantastic selection available for carry out dinners. All items come fresh fried and are also available sautéed for an additional charge. Kitchen closes at 8:00 pm Monday through Saturday and 7:00 pm on Sundays. Our favorite is the low country boil with delicious sausage and succulent crab legs and shrimp.
