Best places for swimming
Frederiksdal Fribad is a great little beach at the lake Furesøen. It is within walking distance (less than 1 km) and you can buy icecream and snacks during the day. At night at great Churrasco barbecue restaurant opens up and the sunsets are wonderful. It is the lake you see in one of the pictures.
Skodsborg beach (ocean - Øresund) is 8 km from our house. There are several beaches along the stretch of Strandvejen. They are all really nice, with parking icecream kiosks.
Hornbæk Strand (30 km) is a big beach in a small fishing village - which turns in to a vibrant summer holiday town. There are several fish restaurants and shops there with great quality fish.
Lake beach less than 1 km from our house. Also wonderful for at walk. Good for swimming and enjoying the sun. You can also buy a nice big icecream here :)
