The park is lovely to walk through any time of the year, for years people have strolled the promenade & stopped to just admire the scenery, absorb nature or feed the ducks. There's an easy low level walk or stepper inclines if you want to run & add a bit more exertion. During the summer months (late May through to September) the paddling pool is very popular with families . There's also a skatepark, bowling green, tennis courts, crazy golf & children's playpark.

Standing proud in the centre of town you simply can't miss it, look closely & you'll see a couple of "Gadgies" keeping an eye on the town. The clock still rings curfew bells at 8pm but it's ok you don't need to call time you can still enjoy the rest of your evening.
