Walk along to Raeburn Place, and you’ll find lots of artisan coffee shops, boutique shops and neighbourhood amenities like our local fishmonger and butchers, and 2 award winning cheesemongers (George Mews & IJ Mellis). There’s also a famous Stockbridge Market every Sunday selling fresh produce, delicious street food as well as local art and gifts – be sure to get there early as it’s very busy!

If you’re here for the festival, many of the shows and festivities take place in Edinburgh’s Old Town. This is also where a lot of Edinburgh’s historical sights are, including the Castle and the Royal Mile. As well as tourist shops and cafes, you will see lots of street performers during August. George Square & Bristo Square are other big festival areas, with lots of outdoor bars and food trucks.
