Amazing Taiwanese bakery! It's a bit pricy and hipsterish but the food is absolutely worth it. I recommend any of the buns.

Neighborhoods

Almost no one ever goes to this small secluded island, but I absolutely recommend it if you have some extra time. Unlike almost everywhere else, it is quiet, and yet it is actually classified as part of Manhattan. Walk around and enjoy the FDR monument at the southern tip, then take the tram straight into the city!
