Great curry, a few minutes from the house. It's also 'Bring Your Own Booze' (BYOB), with no corkage charges. There is a Co-op and Sainsbury's Local within 2 minutes, so great options for picking up chilled beer or wine enroute. Bookings are recommended for Friday and Saturday evenings, as it can get quite busy.

Possibly the best views across Bath. It takes around 15-20 minutes from the house, is generally up hill all the way, and requires a particularly steep road, or a lot of steps. BUT, it's absolutely worth it and most guests can manage it Ok.

What better way to enjoy the Bath skyline than from the rooftop pool, bathing in Bath's famed hot spring water. Warning - it's not possible to book for general entry; so be prepared to wait, and maybe try to turn up early. Booking for packages are possible, but are more expensive. A very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours, particularly if your a city-slicker ;) It's possible to walk to Bath City Farm from Oldfield Park, but it requires a walk up The Hollow, which is quite steep...but very do-able. There's also a small café with outdoor seating and great views. Seating is outdoor only, so best saved for when the weather is reasonable.

"No games machines, no music, no pool table and no cordon bleu food menu to distract the taste buds – but The Star Inn still shines on in Bath". A great spot to visit, particularly if unfamiliar with British Pub culture. Very historic, and if you're lucky, I believe there are Session Musicians playing on Friday evenings. Plus you can get a pint of the local Abbey Ales Bellringer poured from a jug.
