Sightseeing
This State Park, just a mile down the road from here has been a favorite of folks since the early 1930’s. Known for its Trout Fishing and Hiking Trails, as well as a destination for Bird Watchers. Among others the Bald Eagles are a favorite to watch as they live here year round. I personally enjoy watching the Owls and the variety of Wood Peckers. . . my favorite being the Pileated. This year I had the rare opportunity to see two Golden Eagles.
