Subway Etiquette
Be prepared with your subway card in hand before you approach the turnstile. Don’t eat anything that smells strong on the subway and don’t lean against the hand rails, share them with other people. If the subway car is packed take off your backpack if you have one and put it between your legs. New Yorkers are friendly if you’re considerate to others.
