ThurDby-lots of activities in downtown Louisville during Derby. This is the Pre-Kick off to the OAKS which is Friday. Enjoy 4th Street Live which is 10 minutes from the track. Highly recommend UBER or Lyft once you get into Louisville. Traffic will be pretty heavy the entire weekend. To UBER from the house to Louisville, which would be PEAK, may be pretty pricey (but its Derby). You'll be able to park at Cardinal Stable (home of the Univ. of Louisville Cardinals football stadium) and shuttle over to the venue.

Saunders Springs is located 2 minutes from the house. Beautiful hiking trails with lots of hills. Great place to run or enjoy a morning walk. Very quite and peaceful with water falls and lots of nature. Great place to take photos... old cabins line the entrance of the park which make it very scenic for photo shoots.

100 Saunders Spring LnSaunders Springs is located 2 minutes from the house. Beautiful hiking trails with lots of hills. Great place to run or enjoy a morning walk. Very quite and peaceful with water falls and lots of nature. Great place to take photos... old cabins line the entrance of the park which make it very scenic for photo shoots.

Ladies get your hats, sun dresses and high heels ready (be mindful that it rains every year-no umbrellas allowed at the track so bring your rain coats and flip flops). Guys put on your SeerSucker suit, colorful socks, bow ties hats and make a fashion statement. Pack-keeping in mind it can be rainy.
