Porto Tram City Tour
The historic electric car network of STCP – Porto Tram City Tour – constitutes an unavoidable ex-libris of the city of Porto. With a history that dates back to 1872, the year in which the first line of "American cars" in the city of Porto was inaugurated, the STCP electric car network currently consists of 2 different lines:
Line 1, or Marginal Line, which runs between the historic center of Porto and Jardim do Passeio Alegre on a unique journey along the banks of the Douro River;
Line 18, or Restoration Line, which runs between Massarelos and Passeio Alegre on a path that connects the Douro

The cable car has already become a tourist attraction and a sustainable means of transport, connecting Gaia riverside promenade to the upper deck of the Luís I bridge over river Douro close to the Jardim do Morro Metro station and the belvedere of Serra do Pilar convent church.
