State Beach
For calm waters, the very closest beach is State Beach. We call it Bend in the Road. You go out our driveway, turn right and just keep going street and you will run right into it. It's about 10 minutes by bicycle. Sometimes it can be very hard to park, so beware if you take your car.
This is a beach that is accessible from the lighthouse and very close to town. Usually not very crowded. A bit of a hike from the road.
