Demanding but beautiful hike up the falls. Must see. May be difficult for very young children or people who are not accustomed to hiking. It is like going up stairs for an hour.

My favourite stops for shopping are Khewa native arts boutique, Jamboree boutique for gifts and decorations and some housewares, and the Wakefield Pirate antiques shop. Please pick up the Wakefield nude calendar, where business owners pose nude for charity.

This is where to get some wine or spirits on the way to the house if desired. It is in a shopping complex with several grocery and hardware stores and restaurants as well, so many opportunities to pick things up or have a bite to eat before you hit highway 148 towards the house. Grocery stores in Quebec also carry wine and beer, but the SAQ has a better selection. Get everything you need for your stay!
