Transportation
If you are visiting from out of town , i highly recommend to rent a vehicle since the property is driving distance to Downtown Austin, Vineyards and local Breweries. Uber works too but a trip from the airport or to downtown Austin is about $100 give or take.

Bring “river” shoes , the property has stairs to the ricer but like most areas there is a rough rocky terrain that is best to walk with river shoes and also so you avoid the muddy spots prior to getting in the deep water.a light jacket never hurts specially with Austin’s crazy weather.

Kid gear
Bring kid floatation gear and river shoes for little ones. If interested in hiking it would be beneficial to bring a carrying bag to help little ones ease the hikes.
