Package Store

Great little corner shop less than a mile away. Good for stocking up on basics, and a decent liquor store.

College

Truly this is a beautiful college campus. And the new library designed by Maya Lin is truly wonderful to see.

Food scene

This is a great, easy breakfast/brunch joint. It has traditional favorites, but always adds something groovy to the menu.

Walk along the river

From your front door, you can take a left, then a right onto Federal St. About 1/2 up the street on the right is the trailhead to the Federal St. walk, a woodsy, off-leash trail along the river, ending at the Smith College Campus.
There is a beautiful ad hoc prayer flag display, showcasing expressions from passers by, that is poignant and interesting. This walk spits you out at the Smith Pond- right across the street from the Smith Botanical Gardens. These are not to be missed!!
