Our big local attraction! Stonehenge is only 10 minutes away and worth a visit if you've not been before.
A beautiful medieval cathedral, with the tallest spire in the UK. The cathedral itself is an amazing building to visit, but if you get a chance to do the tour of the spire (you might need to pre-book) we can highly recommend it... It gives a fascinating look at how the cathedral was constructed, and there are incredible views from the roof.

This incredible old hill fort is the site of the original Salisbury cathedral before it was moved 700 years ago. It's housed Romans, Saxons and Normans over the years and has a fascinating history. You'll have to pay to get into the old castle, but you can go and walk there for free, including seeing the original cathedral ruins. Great views over Salisbury.

Food Scene
The Dog and Gun at Netheravon (7 mins drive away) was completely overhauled in 2020. It's a very cosy country pub with an excellent menu - well worth a visit if you'd like a special meal.

The Bridge is an excellent local riverside pub. It's recently been thriving with its outside dining area and pizza oven. The menu's not as 'gastro' as the Dog and Gun or Red Lion, so if you're after pub grub and a drink in a great location with an excellent atmosphere, you should like this! Be sure to look at the very fat trout cruising around in the river (trout love chips!)
