HIKING in "the neighborhood"
OTTER FALLS is to the left as you leave the unit. It’s only about ¾ mile up the road. Shoulder is small with a guard rail and very curvy road. Best to drive. Beautiful hike for all levels- steep in areas... and deep into an enchanted forest.
GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN PROFILE TRAIL is 2 miles away (?) and has all level options. Picnic, hike, and take in the views!
LINVILLE FALLS is farther (about 20 minutes); but worth it! Easy to moderate- take your time and you can do all 3 trails. absolutely breathtaking! Natural stairs does give a work-out

HAWK’S NEST SNOW TUBING & ZIP LINE is great fun for most ages! It is "in the neighborhood" just to the left- about 2 miles up from the condo. It should NOT be missed! Great views! www.hawksnesttubing.com
