YMCA of the Rockies is great if the weather is poor and you are looking for something to occupy the family for the entire day. There is a daily admission fee if you are not YMCA members but the fee includes admission to the Kiva Center (basketball, volleyball, fusball tables, ping pong tables, roller skating rink), indoor swimming pool and craft building. Additional fees for archery and climbing wall.

This is a ton of fun! As a family we booked a dog sled ride several years ago and loved it. In the summer the owners use golf carts to help their dogs maintain their fitness.
These dogs love to run! What surprised our famiily the most was how heartbroken were the dogs not chosen to run.

This playground is open to the public even when school is in session. This is a community park that was designed by the children in the community in conjunction with Playground by Leathers and then built by the community.
If you have young children this is the greatest playground in Grand County!

Although a little past its hey day we love to hit Hot Sulphur Springs Resort and Spa. There are pools available for chidlren 12 years and younger but the majority of the pools/springs are for adults. You can take time to just enjoy the pools/springs and the view or schedule a message while you are there.
