Subways & NYC Ferry
Subways: If you're going downtown, pick up the JMZ trains located only about 5 minutes walking from the townhouse. To get to midtown or points north, take the L train at Bedford Avenue to 14th Street Union Square.
As an alternative to the subway, the NYC ferry can transport you to Manhattan for the same price ($2.75). In addition to views, there's coffee and beer available for purchase on board.
The ferry can be accessed from either the North Williamsburg stop located at North 5th Street Pier and Park or the South Williamsburg launch at Schafer's Landing (South 10th Street & Kent Ave).
