Small salumeria with excellent house made salumi/bacon and excellent local fresh meats (steaks, pork, lamb and housemade sausages). Small in-house dining area with excellent and well-priced sandwiches and pizza (our current go to for great pizza and wine in Healdsburg). They serve and sell the Journeyman/San Lorenzo label chards and reds at excellent pricing. Highly recommended!!

Jordan is just north of Healdsburg and worth a visit for their standard tasting. Make online reservation or call ahead (walk ins are allowed but often times are completely booked). Every time we go, we are reminded of the quality and relative bargain their cabernet is, in particular when compared to some of the other super high ends reds in town.

Make online reservation or call ahead (walk ins are allowed but often times are completely booked). Every time we go, we are reminded of the quality and relative bargain their cabernet is, in particular when compared to some of the other super high ends reds in town.
Ridge winery just north and west of Healdsburg has fantastic Zinfandels and their iconic Monte Bello Cab that did so well in the Judgment of Paris Tasting of 1976 (watch the movie Bottleshock if this reference is unfamiliar too you).

Merry Edwards of the 116 just north of Sebastopol is absolutely one of my favorite Wineries in the area, although she became famous for her sauvignon blanc which I still think is reasonable and awesome, the pinots are less of a bargain but worth it.
