Wonderful for the children. Open from May 21, 2022 through early Fall. This is an amusement park with rides from the 60's. Take a walk down memory lane from when you were a child. Children and grandchildren will still love it. There is also a petting zoo. Look for the white deer to feed and pet. You may even meet Santa.
Call 828.497.9191 to make sure they are open. They will close during inclement weather.

Visit local falls. Take US 19 east of Harrah's Casino on the road to Maggie Valley. There is a small pull off area on your right and a short walk leads you to a viewing platform for the falls.

One of the tallest falls in the Southern Appalachians. From the Saunooke Village shopping area in downtown Cherokee, drive north on Big Cove Road approximately 5 miles (past the KOA Campground) to the Mingo Falls parking lot. The walk from the parking lot is short (100 yards), but very steep.
