Grab a bike or your walking/running shoes! From the front door, LEFT on Bellaire Dr away from Rt 1, RIGHT on McFarland, LEFT on Carlton Dr, and RIGHT on Indian River Dr. This is an absolutely beautiful walk/bike to Cocoa Village. The entire road winds along the Indian River among massive 100 year old oaks and large Victorian homes. The road is about 6.5 miles from door to village, all paved and suitable for biking (road bikes, cruisers, mountain bikes or hybrids would all work), walking, or running. There are limited sidewalks, so this wouldn't be a location that I'd recommend for young children, wheelchairs, or strollers. The Park Loop in Cocoa is 0.75 mile and runs from Lee Wenner Park to and around Riverfront Park via wooden decking and brick/paved sidewalks. This path is suitable for wheelchairs, strollers, young children, joggers, and walkers but is not recommended for cyclists.
Challenge Factor: Park Loop is low. This is an easy walk suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. The challenge factor of the river road stretch depends on how far you go. There is some elevation gain/loss, which adds to the challenge factor.
Indian River Dr, Cocoa, FL, USA
Grab a bike or your walking/running shoes!
