Food scene
Here are some of my favorite places to eat in and around Bethany Beach: Bethany Blues ( great BBQ and chili); DiFebo's Restaurant & DiFebo's Market (which is across Rt. 26 from restaurant). The market has a great bakery, pizzaria, and all kinds of yummy things to eat there or at home; Mango's (on the beach so it has a great view & get a Mangorita); Cottage Cafe (great burgers at the bar); Finn's (great HH); Boathouse (fun & outdoor dining).
Outside of Bethany, try Bayside Skillet in Ocean City for a memorable breakfast--I love there Crepes Catherine w/ chantilly cream or Adam's Crepe with garlic butter and other good stuff.
Or Agave in Lewes or Rehoboth and Dos Locos in Rehoboth Beach downtown area. Both of these places have delicious Mexican food.
For delicious Italian food, we love "Touch of Italy" in Ocean City, MD on 63rd street in the Holiday Inn Hotel. You can't go wrong with their chicken parmesan which can easily be split for 3 people. It's huge and oh so good!
If you find a new and really good place around town, please let me know as we love to try new places.

Bring toiletries&bed/bath linens unless using linen rental.
You will need to bring your own bed and bath linens. The first floor bedroom has a queen size mattress. The 2nd floor has four twin (single) beds, two of which can be pushed together to form a king size bed (your choice).
An initial supply of toilet paper and paper towels are provided along with dish detergent, dishwasher detergent and Liquid soap however renter is to provide any additional supplies for the duration of his/her stay.

Rt 26 congestion. Bikers & pedestrians, Please Be Cautious.
Plan to leave early before 9am to avoid congestion on Rt. 26 on day of departure in the early summer. It is primarily a one lane road with lots of traffic going into Bethany.
Stay in bike lanes whenever possible.
Use crosswalks whenever possible.
