Broughton is conveniently situated midway between the cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester which are connected via the Clarendon Way long distance footpath. The footpath itself passes behind our property and provides a useful halfway stop-off point for weary travellers!
Broughton is within easy reach of Stonehenge, Old Sarum and other ancient monument sites. It is only a few minutes drive from Mottisfont; a delightful National Trust property. For those with very young children, Peppa Pig World is also within easy reach.
Despite its easy connection to these places, Broughton itself is off the beaten track nestling under a beautiful local nature reserve, Broughton Down, which overlooks the village giving wonderful views across our Hampshire countryside.
The village itself has a well-stocked shop and post office within its village hall, an 11th century church and a very popular pub/restaurant; The Greyhound, serving excellent beers and food just 5 minutes walk away.
