Owner is passionate about his meats and it reflects on the quality. They will be always ready to give you advises on the best cut to buy depending on how you want to cook it. They also sell a great choice of ready to eat tapas and local specialties who are useful when not in the mood for cooking yourself. They have a selection of fresh stuffed pasta to cook at home (ravioli del plin and gnocchis and sell high quality locally produced canned foods. Very popular with locals, the shop is very crowded sometimes. They opened quite a fancy winebar/restaurant, in front with fabulous food and wines. Not cheap though.

Good place to visit. Hills covered with lavender fields, they make a stunning stroll during the lavender blooming season. It could easily be misunderstood for Provence.

Beautiful visit with a guided tour. Nice for escaping the heat in summer and a good idea for rainy days with children in Autumn, winter and Spring. Bring a Jacket!

The connection to Mondolè Ski area is surprisingly just 15 min by car from La Distrutta. The Rastello Chairlift is less known and therefore the parking is rarely crowded making it faster and easier to reach the slopes than going all the way to Artesina or Pratonevoso
