About a 15 minute drive further into the park from Mariposa Grove is the Wawona Covered Bridge. It’s a covered bridge that dates back to 1868 and might even remind you of the East Coast. Beyond the bridge is where you find the Pioneer Yosemite History Center which is a collection of historical buildings.
