For night time fun East 6ths street is more manageable than West 6th. If going out, I recommend 6th street at night and South Congress during the day

Cars are a requirement from this house
-Rideshare with Lyft or Uber will cost around $40-$50 to downtown Austin
-The Austin capital metro commuter train into downtown is an easy way to get there from the Howard Station on Friday and Saturday nights if you will be done by midnight. You can purchase at the station or there is an easy app for the phone
