This botanical garden features gorgeous plants and a wonderful bistro with great food and drinks. Summer hours are 8AM-3PM and they are closed Mon. and Tues.

I'm an old caver and I love this tour- amazing cave and grounds- an hour southeast of Tucson but worth the drive. Check website for tour days and hours. Reservations may be necessary.

15 minutes (west on Speedway Blvd.) from the house is the spectacular Gates Pass. Park in the lot on the right before the crest of the hill- there are easy hikes to see the sunset over Tucson. Continue over the pass to Desert Museum and hiking trails.
