Nacho bar on Wednesdays after 10, cheap drink specials, and watermelon agua fresca before 10. Not a bad place to hang out after dark, and the food during the day is pretty good.

Galaxy Cafe is a "go-to" for a close and relatively quick/healthy/tasty/affordable meal. It has such a chill Austin vibe both inside and out and the service is great.

Seating can be limited throughout the day but this is a great place to wake up or calm down. Very chill with a good selection of coffees, teas, and pastries. Plus, I don't have a coffee maker...yet.

This place is simply amazing and authentic when it comes to real Mexican food! This isn't a sit-down restaurant; great for bringing home. You can't go wrong with their selections. Menus on the counter

Talk about a breakfast you can indulge in. I never see a man walk out of there unsatisfied. I'm always pretty pleased myself but be prepared to share a table with someone else. The seating is limited!

Okay, I have to admit, I haven't had the pleasure of eating here yet but I can't wait! I've heard nothing but great reviews! Especially about their Chicken and Waffles with a side of bacon gravy! :-)

Ever tasted red velvet cheesecake?!? This is by far my favorite coffee shop in all of ATX. It's right on the lake and there's tons of seating (but it can get packed). Tons of pastries, coffees, etc!

This is another great spot on the lake! The food is always filling and the atmosphere is fun. Here's a tip, skip the wait and go to the very back of the deck (it's open seating) and has the best view!

The pancakes are huge and delicious. The omelets are delicious and they have many to choose from. The staff are really friendly, but seem sometimes like they are spread a bit thin. Open 24 hours.

This is a favorite spot in ATX, especially after 2:00 a.m. The staff are a perfect representation of what outsider view all hipster Austinites to be but I love that about them. All the food is GREAT!

Have a cold (or a sweet tooth) while in ATX? Nau's is great for a little 'pick-me-up'! Very reminiscent of an old fashioned soda shop/pharmacy because that's what it is. Great for cheap breakfast.
