Food scene

We love this independent coffee shop run by two brothers from Yorkshire (who remember the third brother who lives in Australia in their title). Get there early before the cinnamon rolls sell out!

A great, chilled-out place to grab a pizza, a coffee or a brilliant brunch and watch the world go by.

Good coffee, delicious toasties and cocktails as well - a great place to get refreshment if your kids are in the playground or trying to get a hole in one.

Bus, train, tube or boat - there are loads of ways to travel

We are about a 10-minute walk from East Putney tube, which is on the District line. That whizzes you into the centre of town in about 30 minutes. If you prefer to look out of the window, the 22 bus goes all the way down the King’s Road, and the 14 takes you to Piccadilly. During the week catch the RB6 boat from Wandsworth Riverside Quarter into Westminster and see the Houses of Parliament from a different angle - you can buy a beer or a coffee on board and use your Oyster card to pay. The overground train from Putney station takes you in to Waterloo or out to Windsor.
