The 12-mile Muskegon Lakeshore Trail travels along the southern shore of Muskegon Lake from Pere Marquette beach to North Muskegon. The trail offers stunning views of Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake as it travels among the dunes and through several parks and marinas along the way.

The park also has a open-air amphitheater which host concerts in the summer months. Shuffleboard courts are available and have become a great gathering place for seniors. Restrooms are also available.
