This is one of the best slice shops in all of NYC (dare I say the world). They're famous for both their Hellboy slice (Pepperoni + Mike's Hot Honey) and their Freddy Prince (an upside-down Sicilian with fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, pecorino romano, and a sesame seed bottom). They also do great vegan pizza.

One of the best bars in NYC. I'd say it's a well-kept secret, but it seems like everyone knows. It's only a 7-minute walk from our house, but that's far enough from the subway to help maintain its amazing sense of cool. Great in the winter too when there's a fireplace.
