Whitewater Falls is a series of waterfalls and cascades on the Whitewater River in North Carolina and South Carolina. Over the 3.5 mi course of the river between the two falls, the Whitewater River drops 1,500 ft, and crosses the state border.

Station Cove Falls is a beautiful 60 foot set of cascades that starts as one drop and then splits into two. This is a short 1/2 mile hike that is about as easy as mountain hiking gets.

The mill was constructed in 1826 by James Hagood. The mill operated until the 1960s. In the 1970s, restoration of the mill began. Operation of the mill was restarted in 1996. http://www.hagoodmill.org
