Different vibe from High Park, this is more of a fun hangout and on weekends there are tons of people sitting in the park on blankets or playing Frisbee. There are also tennis courts, a dog park, a baseball diamond, and a separate park area for kids.

Different vibe from High Park, this is more of a fun hangout and on weekends there are tons of people sitting in the park on blankets or playing Frisbee. There are also tennis courts, a dog park, a baseball diamond, and a separate park area for kids.
If you have time to make the trip (not too far by subway or streetcar but far to walk), to stroll through High Park there are trails and views of the water, along with a small zoo. There is also a small outdoor theatre and in summer months you can buy cheap tickets to see productions of Shakespeare in the park!

This restaurant is set in a converted auto shop and has an amazing rooftop patio with delicious food. It's a bit higher end and there is often a wait for dinner but if you can make it in early or have a drink while you're on the waitlist it's delicious!

This bar is basically 2 music venues in 1 (has a front and back stage) and they feature a lot of local or up and coming bands. They will often simultaneously have 2 different bands playing between the 2 stages and you can move between them as you please. There is hardly ever any cover and it has a *very* laid back atmosphere with an interesting vibe. This is our favourite spot to pop in and check out some bands.
