You can take the number 65 bus from Ealing Broadway to Kew Bridge. From there catch the Thames path trail to Richmond (also leads to Richmond Park). Its about a 3 miles hike along the river. Loads of nice shops and restaurant in Richmond to enjoy. You can also take the no.65 back to Ealing Broadway. A lovely way to spend the day. I recommend going to Richmond Park (you can just take the bus there) to see the deers and other wild life.
