I recommend the whole Southbank area. Great buzz, food market Friday to Sunday, music, art, films, restaurants & cafés. Wonderful place for hanging out and people watching.

The Tate Modern has some wonderful exhibitions plus the area is great for walking around - and you can use my membership for free entry! I recommend the café on the 6th floor for some great views.
