The Huntington Library resides on 200 acres of land in the San Marino/Pasadena area of the San Gabriel Valley. This property was the winter home of the Huntingtons and has converted their private collection into a compound featuring a research library visited by thousands of scholars a year, gardens out the wazoo (Japanese, Chinese, Australian, Desert, Rose), and art galleries (better described as 'museums' because they are actually large!)
