There is a huge selection of choice for every budget in Brighton. We've tried many of them over the years so please feel free to ask for some recommendations. Most of the really popular restaurants will be booked Friday to Sunday so book in advance.

Probably the best value food in town. Imaginative and regularly changing menu, their dosas are to die for. Well chosen wine and beers help lift this above the competition. Indian summer is also fantastic but more expensive a less casual dinning experience, although the tarka dal is the best I have had.

Great mix of people from old regulars to students. Has some great music on especially their bi-weekly folk nights.

There's also a large antiques shop and Stanmer Organics is based out there which host a number of events and course during the year.
