Our favourite swimming spot at the Natural Swimming Lake 20 minutes from the house. Once you are in Lavamund keeping following the Drava (bearing left) and the lake is on the left.

Koralpe
Best place for skiing
The house is on a 18km walking trail from Dravograd to
Košenjak (1.522 m) then up to the Austrian border. On this route you will see deer, kite and grouse (black grouse, capercaillie and hazel grouse) and in October fire salamander! The route is well marked starting at St. Vid in Dravograd, climb over the top of Gorizia to Košenjak and descending past the mountain hut on Košenjaku and over Ojstrica back to Dravograd. He was the first Slovenian modern sculptor, one of his many works is a statue of Primož Trubar in Ljubljana. This route takes you through the slopes of west Pohorje to Mala Kopa. The diversity of terrain offers many panoramic vistas of the Mislinja Valley. The trail starts at the tourist farm Rotovnik - Plesnik and leads past Church Barbara, the ruins of Berneker's birth house and organic farms Krenker & Golob and tourist farm Klevž. The duration is 4 hours and the cost is € 42,- per Person - really worth the investment!
