Te Poutapeta is a Historic Places Trust listed building. Up until the 1980s it served as the community Post Office. Our family run it as a B&B or Holiday House but do not live on site. Guests will have the Postmaster's Office bedroom. We provide continental breakfast. The Post Office is a one minute walk to our long and expansive beach. You’ll love our Poutapeta for its history, spaciousness and comfort. It is relaxing and unspoilt. Nau mai, haramai!

Our place is newly built, behind a historic building, only metres from the beautiful Tokomaru Bay Beach. The facilities are all modern, with heat pump/air conditioning, acomodating 4 people with style, comfort and ease. One queen bed is in the lounge as a pull down/retractable and the second in a separate bedroom. Shower and toilet is an ensuite shared by all guests but accessed through the bedroom.
