Unique opportunity to stay in an actual Real Jail! This is history people! The Jail house Inn today is a very real and unique small cabin that was used as the original jail cells, originally built in 1920 and used to sit just behind the policeman's family home where it still is today. I have recently converted this very cool jail into a fully self contained cabin but keeping the old original doors, cells and even the bars on the windows. It is located right in the very heart of the township.

Wild South Beach Cottage

We are located at the south coast of New Zealand, 10km's from Tuatapere. The Waiau river flows right behind the house, perfect for fishing or enjoying a walk on the beach. The Hump Ridge Track is a short drive away. Your house is cosy, warm and light and has lots of character. There's only a few houses down here, so a perfect place to relax! There's a large spa pool that looks out to the Southern Ocean, that is available by booking, maximum of one hour per day, as this is also used by others.
